1/6? Nah. 1/1. Everyone gets an FRS radio and a radio/laser range

Tomb declines: 1 to 1 FMAS vs. Los? NO THANK YOU. Carlos and a few other list

are the kind of people who make a professional living giving _OTHER_
people nightmares doing 1:1 FMAS. I don't think I want to find out what it
feels like to be on the sharp end of that.... plus I'm Canadian... all we'd be
entitled to is "Harsh Language" and even that only in the most extreme
conditions (restrictive ROE governs use of Harsh Language).

Do I get to bring my track the Ma Deuce, and a driver?

FWIW A few years ago I chanced to play a couple of games of laser tag with
about 60 guys on a course none of us had been to before. About 20 were SEALs.
Of the 60, the one with the highest score was....an
Only one difference. Los not only does FMAS 1:1 for a living but he also is a
gamer and plays paintball for recreation. <G>
A dangerous combination.

Paintball!
Just like Laser Tag, paintball (specifically scenario style) bears very little
resemblance to warfare.
Oh and Seals' specialities as far as I am aware are not engaging in combat
isn't it?
But Pintball is the way to play FMA 1:1, it rocks (oh can I play, I got my own
kit and everything, I won't be any troulbe:D

I wonder what a Paintball mortar would look like... lobbing balloons of paint?
heavier weapons would be hard to represent in 1:1 scale... now I dont know
much about paintball, but I am yet to see a gatling paint gun..

Blah, blah, RED CHIT, blah, blah, blah!
Yeah?! Let's see LOS do some _really_ tough Army stuff like managing a
Movement Regulation Team! Shootin' guys is easy. Wish I could do it to some
f**ked up convoy commanders.

That sounds like a job done by an officer from a plush swivel chair...
But then again, most pogue jobs sound that way.

Uhhh... my batallion was once used as training aids for a SEAL platoon
practicing MOUT techniques. Yes, Virginia, SEALs are very much good at
engaging in combat.
If you believe the history channel, and their special on the SEALS, then
one of their primary goals is to engage in combat. The key is, they engage
when, and where, they want to. This means not engaging, and sneaking around,
when they don't want to.
Interesting show, BTW. Rand.
