Sovereign Stone is a published RPG, that uses D4 - D12 for attributes
and D4 - D12 for skills. It's fantasy based and much like TSR's D&D and
AD&D. Here's the site:

                http://www.sovstone.com/

Quotes from the site:

"Skill based system, each skill and attribute is listed as a die type, ie: d8
in strength."

"Actions are rolled with an attribute die and a skill die. A character can
exert for an extra die, but at the cost of stun points."

"Magic is rolled with an attribute die and a skill die, too. You need to
achieve a number of points and the spell goes off. If you don't reach it in
one turn, you add your next turn's roll."

There's a.PDF which contains quickstart rules and world background.

Skill rolls are made by rolling attribute and skill dice together and adding.
Characters fumble by rolling "1" on both dice.

So, if you want a FMA RPG set in the Tuffley-verse, Sovereign Stone
could show some approaches to take or avoid.

I'm not impressed. Didn't look like a system I'd like, but oh well. Too many
games out there to play as it is.:)

Another system that uses d4-d12 dice is Deadlands from
Pinnacle. http://www.peginc.com/
