Possible Miliatry Occupational Specialites (MOS) for skirmish FMA.

Demolitions Grenadier Heavy Weapons (Vechicle and Crew Served weapons)
Intelligence Specialist Machinegunner Point Man Radio (Satellite) Operations
Sniper Electronic Warfare Specialist Driver Forward Observer (Forward Air
Controller) Medic Pilot (Fixed Wing, Helicopeter, VTOL, Shuttlecraft,
Dropship)

Add to the list???? Just some crazy ideas.....

I LOVE the idea of an FMA skimish game. Jon, I could get WAY too invovled with
this thing....

?? This is an odd one - wouldn't grenadier's just be lumped in w/
regular rifletroops?

Already covered - the 'support weapon' character option.

'Scout', maybe? Increased ability in spotting & similar?

Maybe just Pilot: VTOL (copters, VTOLS); Pilot: Fighter (space, atmosphere or
both) and Pilot: Transport (Shuttles, Dropships, etc)

Leadership - Sgt equiv & Lt equiv, possibly capt equiv for high-level
games.

Good ideas here... what about Skill lists, and Task lists? There's great hints
in the beta rules, but no detail...

These are the ones I'm using for my FMA RPG version. Although I took a
different route to St Jon with regard to the increased detail level.

Combat Quality: Infantry Tactics & Command Infantry Support weapons (SAW,
IAVR, Grenade Launcher, etc) Melee combat (Rifle butts, swords, clubs etc)
Small arms (Pistols/Rifles/shotguns etc)
Heavy weapons (GMS, groundmount heavy weapons) Vehicle Mounted Weaponry

Starcraft Quality: Aerospace Tactics & Command
Aerospace Piloting (fighters/small craft)
Astrogation Jumpdrive Piloting Ships Guns System Piloting (Capital ships)
Space Survival

Technical Quality: Starship Drives Starship Weaponry Sensors Communications
Vehicle Drives (GEV/Grav/Wheeled etc)
Infantry Weapon Systems (Rifles etc) Electronics Computers

Science Quality: Administration Business Language (each language is separate)
Scientific Field (Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, etc) First Aid (field
medicine, paramedic) Gambling (manipulating the odds is very scientific...)
Medical (qualified doctor etc)

Vehicular Quality:
Atmospheric Piloting (Non-interface small craft)
Driving (By Type - Grav, Wheel, GEV, Tracked, etc)
Power Armour Operation VTOL Piloting Vehicle Tactics & Command Walker Piloting

Physique Quality: Acrobatics Endurance Lifting Thrown Weapons (grenades,
knives etc) Unarmed Combat Zero Gravity Manoeuvres
