I actually wrote an entire Cthulhu supplement for ShockForce, with a little
campaign and everything. Statted out all of the monsters, came up with simple
SAN rules, and made some army lists. I'm quite pleased with the results, and
was looking forward to seeing it in print, but the company had do go and die
on me.

That said, I'd be quite interested in seeing your Cthulhu FMA stats. I think I
know how to handle sanity loss with this system, although I'd only bother with
it for the really big nasties.

Metal Magic. Kinda small, but they did nice work. My Serpent Folk are their
casting, as are my Mi-Go. Lots of variety in the line, usually five or
six poses for each monster type. I like their Deep Ones, but I think that the
Grenadier minis are probably my favorites.

Grendel has/had a set with a dock and a rowboat in it...stock # 1020.
Resin, paints up real purty. I'm not sure where to get them nowadays, though.

> >I've decided instead to settle on using FMA for some Delta Green

Lord, yes. Delta Green makes for nice FMA background, and I am deeply ashamed
of myself for not considering such a use for my Greys earlier than now.

Damn. Move to Philadelphia already, would ya?

That'd work fine, I should think. I've got this vinyl kit of Ol' Tentacle Face
that's probably closer to the proper 25mm scale, but I'm not putting that
sucker together anytime soon.

Not a problem. I'll pull them off my Palm and send them to you.

Yes! Metal Magic. They are small, seem to be a little smaller than true 25mm,
but bigger than 20mm. Nice figures, though. I like the smooth lines of RAFM's
figures, but Metal Magic had some nice figures. The Deep One hybrid is nice
(guy with "the Innsmouth Look" in a trench coat).

I'll check into this. I thought that they were gone, too, but apparently
someone is still casting the resin.

Shame on you, indeed!

> Get some pictures when you run this, please!

I'll do that, once I get boats. I'm thinking I might just make my own. More
work, but less cost...

*L* Or you could move down to Louisiana. No... forget it... you're better off
in Philadelphia!

I didn't mention that the 6 gangsters, two grave diggers, and the poor guy
being interrogated (the RAFM gangster in "insane" mode is down on his knees
praying, looks like he's begging for mercy) plus about 36 ghouls are painted.
Oh, and all the tomb stones... over 100 of them. They feature in the game as
more than just terrain.

The lead figure is heavy. You could defend yourself in hand-to-hand
combat with it!

Groovy.

They were a good company. Their SF line was pretty cool too.

You are a mad genius, and I salute you for it. I love the RAFM ghouls, and the
fantasy ghouls that they produce match the Cthulhu ones pretty closely. This
sounds like a really neat game.

> The lead figure is heavy. You could defend yourself in hand-to-hand

I've got the lead guy assembled. Took damn near an entire tube of epoxy, too.
Although the resultant "drippy" look is actually rather appropriate. Painted
up nicely.

Allan! Don't cheat the List! Put the stats up on your webpage so we can all
play a little Full Metal Azathoth...

That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me on the list!

> I've got the lead guy assembled. Took damn near an entire tube of

In assembling the Cthulhu, I used super glue. Not the regular stuff, though,
but the gel stuff. And I used a super glue accelerator. It worked really well.
The weird part was when I was assembling his body, and with the sheer amount
of super glue used, coupled with the accelerator, the stomache of the Cthulhu
got hot! Well, pretty darned warm anyway. It has something to do with the
catalytic reaction between cyanoacrylite and the accelerators (I have heard
before of people getting burns from super glue on their fingers after getting
zip kicker or other products on them). I was beginning to fear he was coming
alive.

I guess I'll have to do that! I have a section set up for it, which will hold
various ways of playing Cthulhu based miniatures games.

I have stats for Battleground: World War II. These are worked out a bit better
than the FMA stats. I was also planning on giving rules for Warzone, and Beer
And Pretzels Skirmish. Oh, and ShockForce, but John C. has done an excellent
job on those by himself. My other plan was to develop a miniatures game based
on the _Call of Cthulhu_ rules so that people could switch between mass
combat and the roleplaying game with ease.

Of course, there's also "The Hills Rise Wild" by Pagan Publishing, which is
already a miniatures based Cthulhu game...
