Hello everyone, I've been off the list for the past six weeks due to a
very poor performance my my ISP - I've almost certainly missed the
various discussions about the Fleet Book - an excellent publication, if
a little disrupted by errors - has anyone compiled a list of the errors
in one place, if so I would very much appreciate a copy.
A query that arose at my local club during our last game - If a
magazine for a salvo missile launcher is lost to a threshold test and
then subsequently repaired - do you get the remaining missiles back (i.e
was it only the feed that was clobbered?)? input very much appreciated.

I have posted the current list of errata at:

I don't believe that this question has been answered yet. I would vote for
allowing the rest of the missiles. But (not having the Fleet Book yet) I do
not know if you roll for each missile salvo when you roll for threshold checks
or not. If you do, and the missile load fails, I would say that that group of
missiles are NOT recoverable. Again, this is just my humble, ignorant, opinion

Jon sent me a reply to this and my other query, but thanks very much for
your assistance - Jons' suggestion was :
i) all the missiles are lost
or
ii) test for each salvo individually
while I have peoples' attention - do submuntion packs have a fire arc? -
the rules make no reference, nor do the design rules, leading me to conclude
that they are 360 degree arc weapons - comments?

Morning!

They have a firearc, yep, pointing in the direction of that blacken
triangle. I don't remember where it says this, though. :-/

Fore arc - in both systems (90 and 60 degrees respectively)

Actually, they don't have to be restricted to specifically the forward arc.
They can be any arc - as long as it's 1 arc.

Oops. You're correct. That's what I get for typing faster than my brain can
think ;-)

- it makes sense, but my arguments always start when someone points out
that it doesn't say so in the rules...

They have only one arc. The symbol icon is "directional", with the "trumpet"
end facing the arc through which the pack bears.

Hmm, does it actually say this anywhere in the rules? We've always
played tham as multi-arc, just like PDAFs (and never considered
them to be overpowered or anything, especially given Kra'vak scatterguns).
We'll probably stick to using them multi-arc I think...
