In Stargrunt 2, it's one fire action per figure per activation.
In other words you can use one action to fire all figures in a squad at a
singl e target, or you can use one action to fire some of the figures at a
target and a second action to fire the remaining figures at a target.
A squad can use two fire actions in a single activation, but they must be for
d ifferent figures. They CAN be used to fire at the same target. You could,
for i nstance, fire half the squad at a target and then fire the second half
at the s ame target. This increases the chance of suppression while decreasing
the chanc e of casualties.

Allan,
Thank you for the excellent explanation. I have been doing some Not Star
Wars battles in FMA with my Daughter and Son (6 1/2 and 3 1/2) using an
FMA style variant. I am looking at somehow basing fire actions on the weapon.
A submachinegun type possibly getting 2 less effective fire actions or one
more accurate etc.
Again thanks for the input.
