Dawgie: What scale are these amazing RVN figs? You neglected (I think) to
mention that.

Is one of the shotguneers going to look very Dawg-like? :)

Allan:
I think Nic told me the US SF were 28mm? Not latest-day giganto 30mm,
but compatible with Coppelstone-esque FWs. You're saying they are 25mm.
Any chance you could arrange to get a shot of one next to a GZG figure
in 25mm? I'd _really_ like to know how outscale (or not) they are. (I
have 30-40 terrorists from GZG waiting to get plugged).

Allan again:
Isn't a "hushpuppy" a large-calibre suppressed handgun, often fired
single action, used to quietly neutralize gaurd dogs (and sometimes gaurds)?
Hence the term "hush, puppy!". Or does this just reflect my dark mind and you
were thinking of a mushy potato thingy?

Chris: Remember to add "Lambo". That was an excellent suggestion and I have
some idea how to model him. Points to Brian.

General:
FMAS (Find Me A Sheep) at ECC-VI will in fact involve Scots. Probably
Welsh, Kiwis, Arabs and some others too. Politically incorrect? In order to
know, myself and Laserlight have to have even a passing acquaintance
with "politically correct".... ;) (Just watch out for Honest Abdul,
or you might end up without any equipment and one lemon of a sheep (or
maybe a flogged-out dromedary) ).

ECC-V:
To those who participated in my events: Thanks! You made the games fun. The
"Change of Orders" game has been run now twice at Cons with vastly differing
results (the teams played differently!). But it was fun, fast, and we'd have
had an extra 20 mins if I hadn't slept through my alarm (*massive
embarassment*). Next year, NO morning slots for me GMing.;)

Thanks very much. Ewe filled me with Shear delight. (I'd better get these out
of my system before I understand all the RAMifications.) Sorry, guys, I can't
stop, I lack the wool power. Somebody fleece stop me.

I'd suggest Basques too, but they're good Sheep HERDERS, not HURTERS.

28MM SCALE SOLDIERS.

DAWGIE

HUSHPUPPY IS A TRADITIONAL SOUTHERN FOOD ITEM MADE FROM DEEP FAT FRIED DOUGH,
SALT, AND SOME TIMES, GARLIC, ROLLED INTO A BALL.

OR A BRAND OF FOOTWEAR.

OR POSSIBLY A SILENCED FIREARM AND LOW VELOCITY ROUND.

DOORKNOCKER ANYONE?

Getting old, are we, Tomb?

I was actually thinking of RAMbo, I just had the grace not to say it.
Figured we should get Jon "Benny Rambo" Davis to play him. A sheep
with a red bandanna and a 30 cal machine gun fired from the hip...

The Narn is my bat squad, I shall not pun. They maketh me lie down in deep
caverns, they leadeth me to be the still body. They preparest an ambush for me
as a present for my levity. They rebuffeth my puns for good taste's sake. Yea
though I talk in the valley of the shadow of entendre, I will hear no
wordplay, for they art with me, their bat it controls me. Surely good humor
enforced by mercenaries shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will
dwell on the House rules of the list forever.

They are probably 28mm-ish. I'm planning to use them with RAFM Greys and
Mi-Go, so they'll fit in.

I just checked. I still have a roll of film in my camera. I'll take some
pictures of these puppies and scan them. I'll do that today or tomorrow. If
Dawg can hold on for a couple of days I'll have something to show everyone.

Hmmm... I wonder if I can come up with FMAS rules for Pig Ticklers? I like the
Pig Ticklers game but I think some of the tables need adjustment. Maybe an FMA
version... Hmmm... *grin*

I had this posted to my old website; I haven't yet added it to the new
version... Please do heed the taste/lack of it warning below!

A Foreign Legion Story:

WARNING: No taste was involved in the original telling of this story by a
friend, and no taste was added in retelling it here. You have been warned...

So a new commanding officer is posted to an isolated French Foreign Legion
fort. The sergeant gives him a tour, and near the end of the tour they come
across a camel.

Says the officer,"Sergeant, what is this camel doing here?"

"Well, sir, you know...we're very isolated here. The men, well, use the camel
to get some...relief...If you know what I mean...sir..."

The officer thinks this sound a bit disgusting, but the sargeant is right
- this is a very isolated post, and whatever keeps the men happy...

So it was that a couple of weeks later, the officer realizes that it's been a
while since he, well, got any...a while before his new posting, and out here
in the desert, well...so he calls the sargeant over and says, "Sergeant, I
want you to show me that camel!"

Upon being shown the camel, the officer drops his pants and has sex with it.
"There, that's how the men do it, isn't it?" says the officer.

"Ummm...well...no, sir, the men usually just ride the camel into
town..."

Finally got around to reading some older messages...

Oh boy! <snicker> This is almost good enough to make this godless liberal into
a religious person!

Or perhaps I'll just continue being pun-gnostic.
