I am currently starting a work of fiction based in the GZG univers, and have a
couple of questions. It is set just after first contact with the Kra'Vak
(first question, is that correct spelling?). The FH in the back of Dirtside
mentions two UNSC survey ships dissapearing, is either of their names known?
What do we actually know about the Kra'vak?
How does the HF say that the first Xeno-war started? I have my own
story, but I don't know what the UN official line is.
How is faster-than-light-communication achieved in the tuffleyverse?
They must have it. Is it tachion distortion or what?
Kra'vak use the K-gun, right, and they are jsut starship sized MDCs yes?
So many questions, will SKS put me out of my ignorance pls

Yes. But it sounds as if you don't have FB2 - there's a lot of K'V
information in there which you'll probably find very relevant.

You will want to get Fleet Book 2. While you're waiting, read Karla's
Kidnap and Rot Hafen--they're not [OFFICIAL] but I think generally
accepted.

When last I heard, the GZG-Aliens list sort of sank into catatonia
without quite deciding whether the KV are Predators or just really aggressive
Herbivores (sort of like Cape buffalo with guns, so to speak).

If you'd like a bit more on that, most of the GZGverse "official history" is
available at:

We don't, however, have either the new bit of history stuff that was released
in the catalogue recently (have to get that from someone...) or the details on
the KV that appear in FB2.
This might help a bit, though.
