Thanks for letting me know where the FB2 errata is.
However, We found another (I think)
p.41 - Huulth class Warrior
Crew Factor 4 listed in stats, but SSD only shows 3.
No-one else spotted this?

At least four other people have spotted it and mentioned on the list at
different times... Hm - Tim, didn't you update the FB2 errata?
Ah well. Here goes again (some of these are on the FAQ page, but IIRC most
aren't):
Kra'Vak:
- p.10 "Hangar Bays" say that KV fighter bays only cost 18pts each.
That's wrong; they cost 27pts each just like human bays.
- KV Do'San (CVL): Tech specs say that the ship only have 1xK1. This is
incorrect; it has 3xK1as indicated on the data panel.
- KV Ko'San (CV): 3 Fire Control Systems are missing from the data
panel (this time the tech specs are correct).
Phalon:
- Shell, clarification of a potential source of confusion: The rule
(p35) says both that Shell boxes cost 2 points each (4th paragraf) *and* that
their cost per box is 2 x layer number (2 pts per box in layer 1, 4 pts per
box in layer 2 etc). The latter is correct.
- PBL clarification: Any missile or fighter caught within the burst
radius of an exploding PBL is automatically destroyed (as for all other area
effect weapons).
- p.36, "Hangar Bays": Says that Phalon bays cost 18 pts. That's wrong;
they cost 27pts just like human and Kra'Vak ones.
- PBL summary (p45): Note about effects of shields/shrouds is missing.
- Pulser summary (p45): Says that Level-2 screens and Vapour Shrouds
negate rolls of 4 or 5. This is incorrect; Shrouds and Screens affect Pulsers
in exactly the same way as they affect human beams.

I have Fleet Book errata up on my web site, including one that I think Oerjan
didn't mention (the point cost of one of the Kra'vak ships is wrong?) and the
proposed Sa'Vasku rule changes.
My FT page is located at:

The Do'San, yes. I thought that one was in the FAQ already :-( OTOH
your page doesn't say which of the SSD and the tech specs is correct
;-)
Tim, one more FB2 errata: The KV Do'San CVL should cost 691 points, not 671.

*S* Well, yes, you're correct. I'll fix that. I DO state what the correct cost
is. I just don't say which one in the book is incorrect. The one that says it
i s 671 points is incorrect. *G*

The one that >says it is 671 points is incorrect. *G*
The alien tech specs don't list the ship costs (like they do in FB1), but
there's *another* discrepancy between the SSD and the tech specs
for the Do'San. Let's see if you can find it ;-)

Ummm... Perhaps you should tell me. The reason? It appears that Jon may have
caught some things between the printing you have and the printing I have.
Here's why: the errata indicates that the technical specs for the Do'San list
it as having 1 x Class 1 K-gun while the SSD clearly shows 3. Well, my
copy of
the rulebook actually says "3 x Class 1 K-gun". Yes, the cost is wrong,
listing 671 instead of 691. But other than that, the Do'San appears exactly on
the SSD as it is listed in the tech specs.
I did some more checking. My copy DOES have the 3 fire controls for the Ko'San
listed in the SSD and the specs. This is correct, but apparently it's an error
in some versions of the book.
Weird, hmmm? My book is listed as March, 2000 but it isn't one of the ones
with the Phalon text missing. I also got mine from Jon but about a month or so
after the initial rush. As I said, I think he caught some of the errors.

I have two versions of FB2; the very first one without p.34, and the second
one with p.34. You must have a third or later version, 'cuz both
of mine have the faulty Do'- and Ko'San specs.
> Weird, hmmm? My book is listed as March, 2000 but it isn't one of the
Sounds likely, yes.

Yes, there are two slightly different versions of the book out there. What
happened is this: Only a part of the print run had been done in the first
batch, in order to
rush the book into publication for Salute 2000 - it was this rush that
caused the printer to cock-up and duplicate the Phalon blurb page in the
first batch. As soon as this was discovered, the books from this first
batch were stripped of the faulty spread and re-stitched with a
corrected reprint, but the rest of the pages in them remained the same.
Shortly after this was done, and before the bulk of the run was on press, we
noticed a couple of other small errors (the ones Allan mentions above) and
were able to get the printer to correct them before running those pages. So,
the earliest copies will have the errors mentioned, but the later ones
won't - though in all other respects, including the print date, they are
identical. The remaining errata were not dicovered until long after the print
run was finished, and are thus in all copies.

See my post in response to Allan for the full story - the replacements
for
the missing-page-34 copies sold at Salute were all sent out directly by
the printer, and were (AFAIK) all from the first print batch after correction
of the faulty spread.
