The ESU is more likely to name a boat "The Tsar-Martyr Nicholas II"
before it names it after that villian.
It would be like naming a USN ship the USS Rosenberg.
Hehe agreed, but doesn't the classification as a villain depends on the eyes
that see it..?
You're probably right, but it's a cool name nontheless:)
So.. new name:
FT-252 ESU Strikeboat Korolev

Well, given that there was, IIRC, an "Adolf Hitler" division and a "Stalin"
tank design, I'm forced to say that you have a point. But let's not name them
after villains.
Also, you suggested:
FT-243 ESU Light Carrier (CVL) Zhengsheng class (Righteous
victory)
FT-237 New Escort Cruiser Mingsheng class (Clear victory)
It seems likely that they'd have Ming Sheng as a ship within the Zheng Sheng
class of ships, rather than being a separate class.
LOL - well we are stretching my knowledge of Chinese anyway, but I tend
to agree with you.. That's the problem with doing these things while working..
you keep getting disturbed doing important stuff...

The Liebstandarte Adolph Hitler division was run by Nazis. The Joseph Stalin
series of tanks (I, II, and III) were built by Stalinists.
The ESU would not name their ships after a deranged mystic with
delusions of godhood. But a Stalin-class ship is possible.

In a possible reaction to the creation of the Romanov Hegemony, there are
voices in the ESU that seem bent on 'rehabilitating' the 'monk' in an apparent
effort to create a new homegrown covert, subversive element in the downfall of
the monarchy in the first place.
I doubt seriously they will be successful enough to overcome opposition in the
scholar community enough to get a bridge, much less than a class of ships, so
named, but stranger history revisions have happened.
