Can do, does it need tidying up first though? I have doen the first couple of chapters but the rest is still raw. Ok. I have uploaded the first 4 chapters. 1&2 are pretty much tidy, 3 is half done and 4 is still raw. I can carry on tidying them up but if you can't wait I can upload them all looking like 4, but if you don't have the original it's going to be hard work. http://www.gtns.co.uk/store1/downloads/dsii/chapter1.pdf http://www.gtns.co.uk/store1/downloads/dsii/chapter2.pdf http://www.gtns.co.uk/store1/downloads/dsii/chapter3.pdf http://www.gtns.co.uk/store1/downloads/dsii/chapter4.pdf Paul > -----Original Message-----

A PDF with OCR is usable in more places than either the original graphical PDF or an MS-Word version; and you can cut and paste things from it into your own work just as with MS-Word. I did say "as well". Converting from MS-Word to PDF is trivial if you have the tools available. R

And its an awful lot smaller, chapter 3 for instance is just shy of 600k as a pdf whereas the.doc version that it derives from is 2.5MB It looks like there are 2 people doing the same thing on here I have DSII scanned and ocr'd with images in word. And it look like Michael has as well, we need to agree who is doing what else I think the work may end up being done twice here. Paul > -----Original Message-----

If you ask, I'll do the graphics, just tell me which pages to reproduce and I'll do it. As an example: http://www.tablegamer.com/dirtside/pg11-turrets.pdf you may use this if you wish. There's also a PNG version: http://www.tablegamer.com/dirtside/pg11-turrets.png jim Send me a note off-list if you want to talk about more of these. jim@tablegamer.com > On 6/22/04 1:18 PM, "Ryan Gill" <rmgill@mindspring.com> wrote: > At 2:56 PM +0100 6/22/04, Roger Burton West wrote:
