I just came upon an unexpected windfall (Thank you, Mr.Alderfer), and now I'm
looking for extra parts to capitalize on it. Does anyone know of a supplier
that sells 6mm parts such as thruster engines, weapons pods,
etc.?

You are quite welcome Mr.Bilderback! Hasegawa models has some
rocket, bomb, missile detail kits that have some of the zunni rocket packs in
them. I used to use these all the time. As far as engine pods go, if you can
find these, use the custom pod racer sets.

What scale? I will take a peek.

As in SW pod racers? Who makes these (The only ones I'm familiar with are the
Micromachines).

I have used both the 1/48 & 1/72 scale, depends how big you want want
your rocket pack;)

Yuppers, as in MicroMachine StarWars racers. I put an email into Agent1 at AOG
to see if the VTOL wing engines are seperate from the gunship body and how
much they $$.

Both a little big for my purposes, but a good starting point for ideas.

Eek. Do you know how rare those are?

I got your bcc on that, that's an interesting alternative, except that you've
put me in the interesting position of having too MUCH of a good thing (I'd
need what, 10 pairs of engines? eek...;0)
Not that I'm complaining.... just trying to determine the next step.

Nobody said you had to buy 10 pairs, besides you can use the extras as combat
spares:D

Are you kidding? As cool as your shipment was, I'd be crazy not to use it all.
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr.Alderfer is my new hero. No hyperbole intended, this
guy just sent me for FREE 10 of an item I was preparing to spend a pretty
penny for 1 or 2 of. PLUS all the unrequested extra stuff he tossed in. If it
wasn't for the fact that I alrerady had ideas for uses for
it all, I wouldn't know what to do with it all, but I'll try. ;-) I'd
go into detail, but I don't know if Kirk wants me mentioning what he sent me.

Aye, there's the rub. :-/

Opposite end of the spectrum - too small. Either Revell or Tamiya,
IIRC,
made some kits of 1/350th USN aircraft for use with larger carrier
models. I used to have some, wish I still did.

This one's VERY promising, thanks.

Sounds very nice, know where they can be ordered? My local hobby store doesn't
carry it.
