For your own designs, how many infantry teams would you have per MICV? I kind
of like the idea of one MICV per team, but I've also had 6 infantry teams in
one size 5 vehicle (Marines AmTrac model). So what do people think is a
reasonable number of teams in a MICV?

I usually use size 2 APCs with 2 teams per vehicle. Putting any more than this
is a vehicle starts to become counterproductive, especially when you start
using the same vehicles is SG. Although the size 5 AmTrac might be useful,
anything that can kill it will usually incapacitate all the infantry carried
inside (SG, a class 4 weapon means partial light armour won't save the
infantry.)

One or two teams/vehicle. Powered Armor is bulky, so it's tough fitting
in more.

Hi, List
I use three teams (usually Rifle, APSW and GMS/L)in the APCs
"battlefield taxies" and two (or one PA)in the IFVs (usually armed
with RFAC/1 or GAC/1) and VTOLs The problem I see with using larger
number is two fold: "All eggs in one basket" one boom chit while in the MICV
and they are all DOA, also, they suffer a lack of fire flexiblity.Since under
standard rules all infantry from one MICV must form one element, and one
element can fire all only fire at one enemy element at one time. Granted the
target element is in serious trouble if six teams unload on it. Bye, Rick N.

agreed. mostly because that's roughly how it works today... i haven't really
thought about what gives the best results.

i use a size 5 heavy ifv for my PA... i always thought the idea of piling PA
in a dinky little ordinary ifv was a bit silly, given that the infantry
probably had thicker armour than the vehicle they were in:).
