Subject: [DSII]: HEAT vs APFC
To rationalise HEAT vs APFC, The effectiveness of a heat round is dependant on the stable formation of a jet of gas/liquid metal which is of such high energy that it can punch through armour. So if the APFC's go off as the missile strikes this can disrupt the jet formation. Also the effect may be the same as the chobbam armour of the UK's tanks today
