[DSII] Battle Group Values

I'm curious what point values people are playing against one another in DSII.
For example a FT fleet designed at 2500 points seems to give you a nice sized
fleet with plenty of variety. Has there been any consensus as to a standard
point value for DSII battle groups?

I don't know about the "standard" if there is one. DSII seems to suffer in the
popularity department, for whatever reason. I am running a demo at an upcoming
Con, which is roughly a battalion per side. According to the book this is the
target size engagement. The sides pointed out to about 8000 per side.

Just my experience.
