I think that there's a market. I have 5000 point tracked, wheeled, Hover, and
Grav armies. Now I need to build a walker force. I am SO impressed with the
new DSII stuff (particularly the new Hover tanks
and VTOLS) that I would really like to see some size 1-3 walkers done
like DP9's Heavy Gear stuff. I'll even workk on a web ruleset! Jon?
KR?....;-)

A nice idea; when Kev White gets a break in his work schedule, I may see what
we can do. Unfortunately, like me, he's only got one pair of hands (and one
brain...) and I don't know of anyone else who is available and good enough to
match Kev's style. But, I'll have a chat to him and see what he thinks....
What sort of sizes do you have in mind? I'd think about 10-12mm tall for
a
size 1 (basically an Infantry Walker), 15-20mm for size 2, about 25mm
for size 3; anything bigger and you can probably use BTech stuff.

That sounds just about perfect!

[Warleader W'Kan speaks of desiring size 1-3 walkers to outfit his DSII
force, to which Jon responds with...]

That seems like a reasonable range for 'em. You have my vote.

Obviously, I've been overlong watching the GW newsgroup; a comment like the
one above shocks me speechless. 'Your wait for the exciting, new (insert
whatever proprietary model your army is dying for the lack of...) is almost at
an end! Should be available within the next 2 to 3 years!!! Just don't try to
use a substitute or you'll be tossed out the local, approved
shop!!!!' ;->=

Thanks, Jon, for continuing to be the class act you've always been.

Now that the fauning is over, does this make the micromachines 3-pack SW
AT-ST about class 3? I haven't played much DSII, but have been thinking
about giving it another try. While I HATE giant robo/mech, I wouldn't
mind some smaller stuff. And, like a lot of folk, I have plenty of old
Epic/MM/Renegade Legion/Ogre/micro armor/Fortress Fig/etc to crank up
units.

If the 15-20mm ones would double as 15mm scale powerarmour, there's
about 4 people in my area who would almost kill to get hold of this scale.
