I have some of the MMRAV Hunters in 6mm, slowly getting painted, and I put
them down temporarily next to the 15mm KV.

The Hunter is 2cm high (including gun mount--1.3 to the top of the
hull) and 3cm long -- which would make the real thing approximate 5ft
high hull + 3ft for the gun, 12 feet long (approximately--depends on
what you feel "15mm" is--if there's any agreement on this, someone
please tell me). The hull isn't really big enough for an operator, but we've
already discussed AI vehicles.. (if you need a picture,
either GeoHex or the GZG catalogue probably has one--maybe Eureka too,
haven't checked)

But I have no experience at putting together vehicles under DS or

I don't have the Hunter (http://www.geohex.com/dsm106.htm), but I do
have the Paladin (http://www.geohex.com/dsm103.htm) which is a little
flater in profile.

I would class it as a size 1 vehicle, High Mobility Wheeled, Armor 1, with a
Size 2 MDC, HEL, or DFFG. It may also have ECM.

Um...

I don't have my book sitting here, but aren't the Hunter and Paladin detailed
in the NAC "Army List" section in the back of the SG2 rules?

Check there!

They are, but I believe that LL was talking about using 6mm Dirtside
Miniatures Hunter with 15mm Stargrunt figures. Thus the different statistics.

As to my suggestion, I would alter it down from a MDC/2 to a MDC/1.

Yep SG pg 68, in which case it's Size 3.. But that's for a 6mm model placed

I believe he indicated in the original post, that they would be AI driven.

Laserlight,

I've got some houserules for automated gun systems/sentry guns & similar
at my website - see <http://warbard.iwarp.com/sg2rules.html> for
'Semi-Autonomous Combat Systems'.

They've been lightly playtested, not really worked out, but I *think* the
numbers hold. Let me know!

Sometime Real Soon Now (Ha!) I'm going to get a pack of the larger 6mm grav
tanks, and use the hulls of those as mobile robot guns for my 15mm
forces. Any X-Com player will recognize the inspiration!
