Has anybody considered used the artillery call-in rules for aerospace
attacks? This would seem to be a bit better representation of how ground & air
forces interact, AFAIK. The troops designate a target, call the air

controllers, and the strike elements come in and (hopefully) plaster the

target. Maybe some friendly-fire possibility for units in close
proximity? Admittedly, that may not be as much as a concern for the future
forces of DS2, but it's a thought.

I use this as a optional house rule, along with dice off for air superoirty
each turn. I do this because I tend to use more than recommended aerospace
units in my games.
