Subject: DS2:Basing VTOLS
I am basing my Aerospace pieces using the plastic Games Workshop bases but using a metal stem rather than the weak plastic one. How have people based their VTOLS which are supposed to be lower. I thought of using the same bases but now think I might have to use a shorter pic on some plastic sheeting. Thanks

If you want them based lower, you can still use the plastic stem, just trim it off with a knife or saw & glue the fighter to it. I've found that the shorter the stem, the harder it is to break, depending on your storage method, of course.
