I've got some of those (thanks Mr Tuffley), the 6mm figs are reasonably
detailed compared to GW epic scale plastics, but the casting quality left a
little to be desired: lots of flash and a (very) few missing limbs, heads and
malformed weapons (just try and spot the one missing
head in 20 stands... I can always call it a very recent casualty :-)
They're worth it. $6.95 for 60 infantry (12-15 stands) is reasonable

The Infantry is nice, if not spectacular. Big heads, like the Adler 6mm
Napoleonics, but not grotesquely so. The Federation vehicles are VERY
reminiscent of the Renegade Legion tanks--so much so that I habitually
mix the two, without anyone ever noticing. The Ventauran vehicles are
also quite nice, and one Grav MBT has become my favorite tank--I don't
the name or stock # any more, but it's very streamlined (Probably the
Tal'hiran MBT). The scout walkers are so-so. Of the buildings, I only
have the Laser Sentinel Towers and the Laser Command Towers--resin
castings, low quality, with very little detail. The turrets atop each tower
are taken from the 25mm line (normally they are the heads of the Warbots), and
look reasonably good by themselves.
I had no idea that the K'hiff had been released in 6mm! I'll have to get a few
packs of them.
This reminds me of my "Hitchhikers" pack...I'll have to put them on the table
soon. I need a Zaphod Beeblebrox to inspire my troops, I really do!

They're the Dark Star line by Adler Minis in the UK, Leon who runs Adler is a
close friend of Chub from Denizen and they share a casting machine. The
Dark Star stuff is VERY nice indeed, very high-tech Traveller-inspired
Grav stuff, but even in the UK is pretty expensive (£1.95 for a single grav
tank). The Dark Star infantry are 6mm copies of the Denizen figs, in Adler's
typical style - lots of detail but very caricatured proportions (very
big heads). Well recommended, and they all fit in quite well with our DSM
stuff!

6mm infantry with that amount of detail is not easy to cast - you'll
always get a LOT of vent flash (the little lead "threads" attached to the
figures) because if the mould is not heavily vented it just won't cast. I've
always found Dark Star's stuff to be pretty well cast in the UK, don't know
what the licensed castings from Stone Mountain are like.

In the UK, they're packed 40 per pack for £1.95. This is actually very
cheap, compared to the rather expensive vehicles - I really don't know
how
Leon does them cost-effectively, but then Adler are an even smaller
outfit that us (ie: 1 man instead of 2!). They come in strips, without the
element bases that we do for our infantry, so you have to base them
yourselves, but for this extra effort you get a lot more infantry per pack.

I have the denizen 25mm line and they're quite good. Was wondering if the same
applied to the micros...

I really like the vehicles - especially the High Orbital Re-entry MBTs
and IFVs which are streamlined yet massive. The figures I like less, with
their big heads, though because of that they are recognizable as the
counterparts to the 25mm figures. The K'iff wear helmets, which look odd
compared to the really nice 25mm K'iff figures, but all in all a very nice
range.
