Subject: [DS/SG] More climate stuff
G'day guys, Whilst battling a spout of insomnia I got to pondering climate for DS, SG <as you do ;)> and wondered if the guys who'd played ice-terrain games had taken into account sympathetic vibrations in the ice? That is if tracked etc and not going < than (say) 10 then the ice sheet will shatter. One example of this is when the Russians withdrew across the ice-lakes in WWII and the the Germans belted in after them... fatal mistake, another is the waves in the ice-sheet set-up when planes land on them in the Antarctic. Anyways just wondering. Beth
