With just one game under my belt, I feel bad about saying that quality costs
too much in game terms, but it felt that way as my opponent rolled over my
positions with a two-to-one advantage in activations
and units.

I do think things would have evened out more if we played a bigger battle,
however.

Any thoughts on that?

G'day KEvin,

In a nut shell it is a fairly common observation that quantity beats quality a
lot of the time in DS, Oerjan is probably better to explain the ins and outs,
but I'm not sure if he's sorted his email problems yet. Maybe someone else who
can remember more of his points than I can could be of more help here.

Cheers

Well, I'm going through the archives and tracking down some old posts on point
balance. Some interesting stuff in there.

Thanks for the information and the help, Kevin
