You, DonM and JohnA need to find a way to get together. Although I think Don
does brigade actions in 25mm

At 1:1 scale?

I like to think I'm already in line. I'm not thinking that scale though. I
just want a company of scout cars to attach to a tracked battalion.

All right, now I am truly blatantly jealous. Not that I have the room to store
any such creature but reality is not a factor here. Must have looked awesome
but of course playability might have been a concern.

Gracias,

Fortuantely, the painting was no problem. Colour scheme: Russian Dark Green.

So what else you got. My friend has at last count 14 German WWII Divisions in
6mm 1 to 1 scale. Granted I talked him out of getting the infantry for all
those divisions but he does have the vehicles. I do know one order he placed
for 1000 trucks (of the same type) to fill in the blanks. I am not sure the
composition of any of his other nationalities but I do know he was talking
about Russian Tank Corps.

My own philosophy is to get only what would fit on to a game table but get
every reasonable force combination. So I usually get only one battalion on any
given vehicle (Regt(Bn) for British WWII at
five companies and Tank Brigades/Regts for Russians
{at 45 to 85 tanks)). The last time I ran an inventory I had over 1000 WWII
tanks (with appropriate numbers of APCs and trucks) in 6 different national
forces.

I extended the 1 bn max per vehicle when I was pushing my modern vehicles but
stopped pushing modern in the late 80's. There are five national forces
represented.
