Subject: DS: A couple more questions
1. Oerjan, when last I left the list, you were working on some construction
house rules, as was I. I'd be curious to see what you have so far - I
haven't touched them in a year.
2. Regarding the multiple weapon types/one system per turn rule, I got
here in time to see we've cleared up WHAT the rule is, but have we discussed
WHY? I'm curious as well. If a turn represented a significantly smaller amount
of time, I'd see the point. But if, as it's been said, a turn represents
10-15 minutes, this does seem unreasonable. Personally, if it's an
anti-munchin measure, I bet we could think of other, more effective
measures.
I think it is plausible that larger vehicles, hence larger crews, would be
capable of firing more than one weapon, as would AI vehic's. A sliding scale,
perhaps with diminishing returns in accuracy, might work as a HR.
3. RFAC's: Anyone have any comments on a HR idea I had for counting RFAC's as
APSW's when resolving close combat between infantry and vehicles?
