1) thanks for the link John A - great stuff

2) Brian, dang it... if you want to grab me a pack or two of drones before you
ship the other stuff...;)

3) RPVs to kill tanks. Simple and effective. Take one honda 4 wheel ATV. Mount
sensors and an explosive charge which can propel a copper plate about 10"
across and about an inch thick. Zip around quick on remote control (ATV is
fast). Get somewhere near tank (dunno range). Fire weapon. Destroy ATV.
Absolutely demolish tank turret and cause cook off. This was done. I believe
it scared the crap out of the developers, so
they've temporarily put aside building more - this was a "what can we
do" and it shocked them. $10-15K unit vs the cost of a tank. Ouch.

4) Read (a while back) about a fan propelled battery powered unit (size
of large pie plate) to be carried by infantry - works on tether via
about 150m of flexible tough fiber. Can be driven with small controlset on
forearm or small control box. Has camera (maybe with IR) aboard (probably CCD)
that broadcasts to small LCD on control box (could be HUD in future). Gives
infantry good recce for MOUT or bad terrain. Quiet, small, able to get nice
view of battlefield. I'm thinking one of these per squad would be interesting,
or at least 2 per platoon.
