final battle. It would be an interesting Scenario using Real Thrust Rules. The
Uplift War is very much a geurilla ground based affair, though the Avian
adversaries are interesting.

I never did get around to reading Brightness Reef though (did it close the
story on the first ones?)

No, its turned into a trilogy. It looks like it might sort out the loose ends.
Quite interesting but not quite as epic. You wouldn't be running any FT
battles. Maybe some dirtside or stargrunt though you'd have to come up with
even more rules for the different alien races, all with fairly primituve
weapons.
