Greetings all, I use "Main Force Miniatures" infantry for Dirtside. The UK
Mechanized
Company pack has a nice Sci-fi/ ultra-modern look to it: troops with
bullpup style rifles, LMG teams to use for APSW's, Milan teams for
GMS-L's,
and a few figures with Javalin (?) anti-aircraft missiles for LAD teams.
I
have used GW figures but they look too Gothic/Baroque next to my Future
Wars and Scotia armor. I buy Main Force through SIMTAC here in the states but
I have always assumed they were UK based.

Decent, ready-based and very, very cheap regular infantry can be had
from
Irregular's SF line. They have 4-man rifle teams, 2 man 'recon' teams',
and several types of 2 man GMS/L or LAD missle teams.
For powered infantry, I use Scotia MicroModel's powered armor troopers, which
come in 25 man packs, unbased. They're really nice, well cast, and I intend to
order more very soon...they also have some hvy. weapons inf, and a couple
other types that I've never seen.
There are also the infantry pack from GZG/Geo Hex - 40 (i think) grunts
in 5 poses, but they're a bit pricier than either Scotia or Irregular.
Probably very nice, tho...:)

I've been using RalPartha Battle Tech Davion infantry. I've not really
diferentiated between the militia and power. I really only use line infantry,
so its not a prob. I usually write the type (APSW, Rifle, Engineer, etc) on
the underside of the stand to denote what they are. Usually 5 figs on a bit of
card for a squad and 3 or 2 figs on a card for
a specialist section (APSW, GMS/L, LAD, etc).
I'd like to find some better infantry that look correct but somewhat
futuristic. I'd love some small scale figs that look like ESWAT from
Appleseed. Great weapons and kit.
