Greetings, Yet another newbie question from the Mal. What exactly is the
procedure for Damage Control Parties? At one point in the sequence of play is
it done?
Which rules are we talking about? FT 2 or FT 2.5 (i.e. Fleet Book rules).
Is there a difference? My second edition rule book (FT2?) does not have
anything on DCP. Your support with answering both rule sets would be
appreciated.

Well, the rules for DCP appeared in More Thrust, which you can download for
free from GZG. The later fleet books took the DCP rules and updated them.

There is no difference wrt the turn sequence; damage control is done in the
"Turn End" phase regardless (stated in MT and not changed in FB1, so this part
of the MT rule still stands).
The exact procedure used to resolve the damage control attempt differs;
FB1's "roll 6+ to succeed, each 2nd or 3rd extra DCP adds a +1 die roll
modifier" version is the current rule.
Regards,
Oerjan, Thank you again for actually answering my question.
