Dave's a friend who works right around the corner from me! He has done large
scale model work for us in the past as well as running the Star Wars Capital
ship combat game at conventions (A scratch built 6' Star destroyer, 6 rebel
frigates, blockade runners, freighters,
probably 120-130 ships on 4' stands with micro-machines for
fighters.) His Sci-fi walls are really great!! I highly recommend his
products.

Mike Miserendino and I are kicking around the idea of a Full Thrust game
played with 1-2 foot models, and I was curious, based on your post if
they did a Nebulon-B frigate in the 1 to 2 foot range?

I played in this last year, and it was a BLAST! I played one of the
two ogres, and we were assaulting a superior force (points-wise).
We ALMOST got into range of the enemy command post before we were
stopped cold -- it was a really hard-fought battle!
Just another argument in favor of playing against unequal forces (or maybe
playing without a points system).

3 FOOT OGRES!? My God.
Anybody planning to do a full scale mockup sometime? (8-)

Unfortunately, I have never been to GenCon... Comes right at the heart
of my re-enacting season. BTW Mike, I won't be able to make our July 5th
game, as I have a chance to be in a Documentary about the Wilderness,
filming is that fri-Sun ... I just found out yesterday. Sorry.

Cool! I will definitely check it out and take several photos. I remember
the big Ogres - pretty neat stuff!
