Couple of quick questions regarding the Combustible Vulnerable Expendables:
Does the Fleet Book provide any designs for above class?
Is GZG planning to release any CVE minis in the near future?
Does any one have any conversions done up that can be done with a
minimum of modelling skill--preferably not involving lots o' booms (I
like the way the NAC ships look, but that boom/pod thing drives me
nuts!)

Quick conversion: 1) Take one NAC CL and one Wings and things pack. 2) File
the CL flat on the side without the bit that sticks out. 3) File the square
(ish) structure piece and the short narrow
wing from the W+T pack flat on the mounting side.
4) Super glue the square structure long edge to the CL side at the rear of the
CL. (align the top edge with the CL top.) 5) Super glue the short narrow wing
in front of the structure piece at the top of the CL and in contact with
structure.
6 Optional: An additional square platform/door piece can be
superglued to the bottom of the structure and CL for a small flight deck.
(This can be accomplished with paint if you are so inclined.)
The mass would be 26 to 30 with one or two fighters on the ship. I have not
put this together as yet, I only thought of it last night.
If anyone would like to see an SSD for the ship (as mass 28) I will be more
than happy to send it to all who ask.

Which is why I buy a lot of NSL, and more than a few FSE. My logic is that I'm
painting them all grey and putting crosses on them, and who ever heard of
Byzantines inventing anything military anyway (barring Greek Fire)? They stole
the best ideas from their opponents. Redesigning the fleet when I get the FB
is gonna be real interesting. Probably going to be hull sizes as per the mini
in question with the weapon mix reworked to suit my ideas.

Hrm...Hadn't thought of doing that--take a Medium Freighter and put
parts from Wings&Things on it. That's a sick thought--fragile, but
cheap. Using the Q-ship rules, I could get a lot of fighters. That
would be a hell of a surprise for any bunch of Privateers or other commerce
raiders. I'll try your idea for a small standard carrier, though. I think I've
even got a NAC CL lying around somewhere.
