I must say that delight was plastered all over my face when i recieved my new
lot of cmd models but......
No 1
the NSL Battleship has 5 pieces, the 2 main structures are pretty obvious on
putting them toghether and the bridge is simple to but those 2 extra bits have
me puzzled ( the long wing bit and the hull section)
No 2
the NSL Escourt Cruiser has a small long thin bit apart from the bridge, where
does this long thin bit fit into the scene of things..
Can some one help me 8)

I first tried my escort cruiser with the thin bit at the front as a sensor
array, but it looked really naff. My solution was to place it thin end forward
on the left hand side of the ship, it still loks like a
sensor array/something to do with the ADAF. This was the only way I
could place it so it didn't look stupid.

If you think you've got problems, you want to see all the bits that come with
a FSE Fleet Carrier.

CMD put a small assembly page under the foam for the ESU battledreadnaught and
the NAC battledreadnaught. Do the NSL models also have this assembly sheet? I
recall staring at the pieces of the ESU ship trying to figure it out. It's NOT
obvious that the assembly instructions are included!
Take a look, please. I'm interested in the NSL models you've described.

If you mount the wing thing on any on the ships as shown, you might as well
keep a spare superglue nearby. The wing hovers slighty above the flat of a
standard Geo-Hex base or flying base. It might be recommended to cut
the wing or mount it somewhere else.

Funny, I didn't have one with mine. Are you sure it was the CE? Mine is just a
solid lump of metal. Of course this could be the long stem on my CE's nose
that just came separated on yours.

My CEs certainly had bridges. Of course, my BB had only 4 (or was it 3?)
pieces, and no assembly instruction whatsoever...

Well here in the land down under Eureka Minatures is the group who make then
and all you get is the mini inside a plastic bag, so basically you have to
take a good stab at it (so no prize for assembly page)

Yeah. I remember when I got my FSE ZFleet Carrier (the "J'eanne D'arc") and I
was amazed at the number of pieces in it. Took my friends and I about 3hrs to
come up with a really cool way of putting the thing together. Boy that was fun
(and funny!). It looks really good now!
