Anyone hear of "chisenbop"? I had some whacky math courses in grade school,
and we learned chisenbop. Right hand: each finger is 1, thumb is 5; left:
fingers are 10, thumb is 50. So you can easily count from 0

to 99 on your two hands (0-9 right, 0-90 by 10 on left).  Still use it
to this day... which garners the occasional odd look.

They could count using something other than fingers, or using some
other convention--eg they might not include thumbs, so use base 3.

I was thinking of base 8, but as Los did his Rot Hafen stuff in base 6 I think
