I don't think I'll be doing any Star Trek counters. The Micro Machines are too
cheap nowadays and just about every ship is available. One thing I might do is
post my "Home Galaxy" counters for
our games here. My fleet (The justly feared Jhi Domination ;-) has a
complete counterset along with the Terran Unity and the Mantax Alliance. As
for the Honor Harrington stuff, until there is a working ruleset to deal with
the peculiarities of the space combat in the books, I'll probably hold off.
(Although rolling ship to double my missile "throw weight " is appealing....)

--While I do have an incredibly solid modeling program (3DSMAX) The

You are then a talented artist (envy :-). Does photoshop have features
to assist
in making the counters so nice - I am particularly impresssed by the
lens flare
effects / shadows and highlights - how do you do that?
--I am working on the Rebel Mon Cal cruisers to add to the SW counter
sheets.
Excellent, the SW sheet is also cool - any chance of some Interdictor
Cruisers?
I would be interested on some tips some time, as I'm sure you don't have time
to do counters for Star Trek & Honor Harringtion etc...do you?
In addition how do people use the B5/SW M. Wikan counters, I think I'm
going to laminate mine using the laminate your own sheets from the office
suppliers with black backing paper. Ayone else got some input?

Here they are 5.0 - 6.0 ($7.5 - $9.0) pounds sterling for 3 bits of
plastic. Is
that cheap? I do have lots of color SFB Megahex /FASA STCS counters that
I use instead because the scale problems with Micro Machines are silly at
times. I agree that StarTrek is probably done to death.

Please!
Gentlemen/Ladies it looks like the gauntlet is down for the Honor
Harrington Universe...

I've generated black&white counters only from the B5 set. I have not used them
in any scenario, but my 6 year old son loves them.
He plays the Shadows and clobbers everything else.:)

The one time I played B5 FT, the effect was really, really nice. And these
counters look really good. (I was playing a recreation of the Severed Dreams
battle. Unfortunately, I didn't print out any of the Mimbari cruiser counters,
so I used a Star Destroyer or two. (8-) )

I haven't had much of an opportunity to actually use the B5 counters of Mike's
(as 90% of the FT I've done lately has been via email), but when I was at an
SF con back in Ohio this past spring I brought some with me (unfortunately,
only black-n-white printouts; no color printer available here easily)
and
people drooled. :-)

My plan is to print them out on a color printer, then take them to Kinkos to
have them copied onto card stock to make them stuffer. Haven't gotten around
to it yet, though. If I ever do, I'll let you know how much it cost me.

They look cheap, but I wouldn't call them cheap in price.
Anyone know if the old die-cast Star Wars minatures are
still around? I've got a really nice Imperial Star Destroyer somewhere (if
only I knew where it was), which is about as big as a whole box of Micro
Machines, and looks damn nice. (it even has the Tantiv IV (Princess Leia's
ship) stuck in its
hanger bay - just about corvette sized in fact).
