Anyone familiar with historical microarmor knows about CinC -- they have
some of the nicest products out there, with exquisite sculpting. They also
have the metal Renegade Legion miniatures...which are also damned nice.
Now, from the Ogre Miniatures list, I learn that they have their own line of
Science Fiction microarmor....

suspect that they look spectacular, but it's always good to have stuff
like the confirmed before spending cash on 'em....

I HAVE some. I've got 2 platoons of the THK. Think the hull of an M1 or
Challenger, upgraded to carry a fusion power plant (No grill on the deck),
with a
wedge-shaped turred that sports a very MDC-looking
main gun. Quite wicked, comparable in size to CinC or GHQ's modern NATO MBT's.
The tracked AIFV is not so cool. It's bigger than the
THK, moxier, with clamshell-like doors that resemble
the hinge section of an airport passenger ramp. It looks more like a mobile
Command post or arty resupply vehicle than a MICV. It has a remote turret with
a
much smaller version of the THK's barrel -- call it a
RFAC-1 or MDC-1.
Those are the only two I know well.
I forgot to mention, good quality castings, no pitting, nice detail for a SF
fig, although lacking on some of the things you'd find on a modern tank (Tow
cables, tools, etc.). The tracked AIFV came with a spare remote turret.

No I haven't. But their Renegade Legion line has pictures:

I would expect their other line to have the same quality.
Of course without pictures, you won't know whether you like the style
:-(

I thought Dean had posted a psuedo-review awhile back. However, I can't
find piccies on the Star Ranger site.
Dean, you there?

I did post that CinC was back after being on hiatus for a while and I might
even have included a few images of the old RL fighters (can't check due to
the firewall for gaming/gambling sites at work). I wouldn't have
included anything for the vehicles.
Maybe it was The Miniatures Page or one of its readers who had that
pseudo-review.
CinC is located a few hours away from me and I have seen their sci-fi
vehicles at a game store in Minneapolis/St Paul. The 6 legged walker
looked good and the tanks seemed to be advanced versions of current ones and
not overly futuristic.

Wasn't me, though I've been planning to run some pictures of their FASA
sci-fi line...
Cool, soon?
Glenn says: "6 mm figures and 1:6K warships are my main interest. I play them
in Historical, Fantasy and Science Fiction; big battles, small battles and
skirmishes. But if you have the figures (2 mm through 54 mm,) the terrain and
the rules... Fight's on! Let's game"

It would have been sooner, but I've been diverted into writing a new
"moderator system" due to a few idiots on our Message Boards...

I learned how to use a punch drill from replacing turret barrels on the CinC
tanks. It is excellent quality but is somewhat delicate.
Just prevent the cross posting. Virtually every topic is specific to a period.
Yet morons have to ask stupid questions like "Did Hitler play golf?" and spam
that silly nonsense over every single board. Most of us hit the boards we want
anyway. No reason to see the garbage over every single periods board!

Yes, but they will have to work harder to be assholes.
