I don't know of any in Toronto, but there is a gaming convention in Hamilton
on the weekend of the 21st to 23rd of August. It's called MIGSCON. As for GZG
games, there will be three Full Thrust games, and one WWII period game
utilizing Star Grunt rules. Although there are only a few GZG games and none
of Dirt Side, there are lots of other games going on. Many historical, but
also a number of other sciFi types.
Hey guys,
I know there was a Canadian GZG get together being put together in Toronah on
the Third Weekend in September. Is it a go? Whats the status? Do we need
people to run events? Do we need to remind people when and where and how
costly? Are we trying to persuade KR or some local supplier to come up for the
weekend? etc. etc.
For those of you in the know, please update us on the situation. I for one,
have it marked on my calendar...
:) Tom.

Hi everybody!
Due to some unforseen problems, the idea of a GZG Canadian Convention in
Toronto has been put off for a year. I thought somebody had announced
something previously on the list, but I guess not.
My apologies to everybody who was hoping for a Canadian event. We're going to
try again for next year, and hopefully, things will run a little smoother.
Thanks for your patience.
Since there isn't a GZG specific convention, are there any gaming conventions
coming up in Toronto?
The only one I can think of is Pandemonia but I believe that runs in the
winter.

I'm going to Migscon for sure, being from Hamilton and all. It was at the last
Migscon that I discovered Full Thrust at a pick up game.

There is a big game/demo day at Sci-Fi World planned sometime in
August/September which will feature all-day SGII gaming, including a
Company-level game in the evening. I'll find the dates.

Pandemonium runs the full gamut of GZG events, but that is in
January. There will be a big SGII-fest at Sci-Fi World in
Toronto/Thornhill sometime in August/September.

Some Heavy Gear and Gear Krieg is run at MIGS, but there is also
to or three FT games every year. Rich usually runs his Star Trek/Full
Thrust game at every con.
The SGII/WWII game is GREAT. It is a damn-near Company level
game involving the Germans and US in the Ardennes. It may be different this
year, but the guy puts on great (and LARGE) 20mm games.

MIgs con will have lots of full thrust games going on so anyone interested
email me at farbill@msn.com and I can send you a package
