Subject: BUILDINGS

ALL of mine are home made, with some generic buildings, as well as plot
specific buildings. and all have removable roofs, and floors inside the frame
for ease of play.

BOB is right about the ways to improve card buildings.

card buildings and paper buildings are what the groups i started gaming with
used at first, and later continued to use along with plastic RR building kits,
and even European resin imports. adding the mat board or foamcore backing
makes them much sturdier, as does adding a terrained base.

the type of buildings i use depends on the scenario and the scenario tech
level.

this means i can used medieval, middle eastern, wild west, WW II, KILL
ZONE /COMBAT ZONE, and sci-fi pieces that i have.

but we really need some spaceports, research stations, starship, spaceship,
and space station interiors too.

lunar and asteroid installations would be nice.

and mundane colonial buildings representing everyday life on JONES'
PLANET or BACKWATER-3

and sewers! think of all of the potential for games uses of sewers, evrything
from THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA IN SPACE to THEM!

A British company called Ainsty makes a sewer set. I've been, off and on,
playing around with my own sewer set using Super Sculpley. It's cheaper than
Ainsty's set and works well, but it takes a lot of Sculpey to get a large
sewer...
