Subject: Bugs, Mr. Ricco! Bugs!!!
Hi Folks.
I was wondering if anyone has translated the bugs from Starship Troopers
(movie or book) into Stargrunt2 terms.
I'm collecting critters to throw at players when I referee the games. I've
already got the Predator and Aliens (both per the movies) that they haven't
seen yet.
Including the Bugs, does anyone know of some other little tid-bit
creatures I can surprise them with?

hi Warren,
I seem to recall someone ginning up some numbers, but I believe it was for
Dirtside2. check out the DS2 sites adn you should run across some stuff to
adapt. BTW, GZG has 6mm bugs that I prefer for the Workers and Pendraken has
10mm bugs that are excellent detail. I believe the 10mm come in Warrior,
Tanker and one more I believe. check out these websites:

What I'm looking for are the stats of the bugs converted into Stargrunt2.
I'm also looking for any other type of alien critters that list members have
come up with.

Or am I all alone in this? Just curious.

The problem (such as it is) lies in Eureka's page set up.
If I've got Web Washer running the page will be blank. Disable Web Washer and
it will show.
Perhaps your difficulty arises from a similar situation.
Regards, Bob
as i type this i am looking at a EUREKA BUG WARRIOR without weapons and it is
huge, scary, beautiful, and very cinematic.
i was given one recently, and i plan on buying some more as soon as i get
things sorted out at my end!
em-4 makes a "predator" s well as several other "aliens", i am told
COPPLESTONE is making some " assorted aliens", and if you can find one, the
OOP LEGION OF STEEL line featured an alien soldier that looked like a better
armed and armored predator.
i cannot remember what the LOS alien soldier is called, but it was
not a machine, and it might be in production again from EXCELSIOR PRODUCTIONS
in the USA.
DAWGIE, who does like the EUREKA BUG WARRIOR!
G'day,

Figs.
Beth, you posted some links for me at one time... United States Colonial
Marine Corps
Aliens
and Predator
For Stargrunt2.
If you have them handy could you re-post them? I lost them ;-(
Also What the address for your GZG URL?
Thanks,
G'day,
> Figs.
Well off the top of my head (not necessarily with urls - not all handy
sorry - but I've seen all these on the web) there's
- the transparent resin aliens (aintsy?? not sure can't find them at a
quick glance)
- "preds" (Eureka's, Futurewars' Hunter aliens for example)
- bugs, bugs and more bugs of all sizes (I surprised Derek the other day
when he thought he was 25mm bug hunting and a zillion 6mm bugs flowed out of
the nooks and attacked instead)... from Pendraken, GZG....
- Kra'vak
- Phalons
- aliens (as in xenomorphs... from Pendraken at least)
- kryomek
- "greys"
- starcraft aliens (kits, but adaptable as far as I know)
- araknids or koralon or something (from void?)
- the shard crystal guys (ex-FASA I think) if you can still find them
- Daleks (of course!!!) and the many other doctor who aliens
- various alien races from GW (Tyranids being the most obvious, but I
reckon you could do some neat stuff with the Eldar figs if you didn't have to
take out a second mortgage to afford it!!!!)
- confrontation wolfen have potential
- robots (necrons, terminators.... the later are on the New Wave site)
- K'hiff
- the aliens from the company that have the kangaroo aliens
- bablyon 5 aliens if you don't mind character figs only (i.e. more for
an rpg or FMA then SG I would've thought)
- War Gods of Aegyptus figs have potential too
- cthuhlu figs (from rafm)
Urls I do have handy are:

But you need to e-mail him about "Chaos Weasles", a slightly sureal

Please don't say I passed you onto him (they are all a bit secret...).

[Commercial ON]
We can also supply the Eureka bug (our code EM-BUG, price 3.50 UKP) and
the
"not-Pred" Bounty Hunters (our codes EBH-1, 2, 3, price 1.00 UKP each),
from the online store at <www.gzg.com>.
Remember that US customers (well, any non-EU customers actually) get to
save almost 15% off the listed prices automatically due to tax (VAT)
deduction....)
[Commercial OFF]
My profuse apologies. I didn't realise I was still sending to the list, I hope
the piccie didn't cause anyone any trouble. Once again, my apologies (oh and
for the TERRIBLE spelling!)
Richard (the apologetic)

JON, HOW MUCH IS THAT IN USA MONEY, FOR THE BUG WARRIOR?
> JON, HOW MUCH IS THAT IN USA MONEY, FOR THE BUG WARRIOR?
Current conversion rate is, I think, VERY APPROXIMATELY 1.4 USD = 1 UKP, so
an EM-Bug would be 3.50 UKP minus VAT deduction = 2.98, x 1.4 = just
over 4 USD (4.17 actually). Please remember these conversions are rough idea
only, and will depend on your card issuer's exact conversion rate at the time
of the transaction, but if you work on "about 4 dollars each" plus a little
for p&p, that will serve as a guide.
