I stumbled across this website online. Has anybody bought starships from these guys? http://www.tonyfrancis.free-online.co.uk/brigadeframes.htm I noticed that in the section about their starships they talk about needing to be a member of some kind of SciFi Gamer Society to order...and that the company is in Britain...and that they don't accept credit cards... My question is... Is there anyone in this list (Maybe in UK?) that IS able to buy these minis and ship them to some of the rest of us? And possibly accept credit cards (maybe through PayPal.com or something...) I REALLY like their carriers and would love to own a few...

Has anybody bought starships Yes, I'm here, slightly flustered (my wife's been in hospital for a minor op., leaving me - literally - holding the baby. You don't realise how much you appreciate sleep until you don't get any for two nights in a row...). Anyway, I won't take up too much bandwidth - this is the GZG list, after all. Jed has already posted details of joining the SFSFW in the US so I won't repeat that. If you can get a bank draft from your local bank (shouldn't be too hard from most reasonably sized branches) then that's the easiest way to pay us. We can now accept cheques in US dollars as well as sterling (I don't think I've updated this bit of the website) although we may need to ask you to pay a bit towards this since it costs us to convert it. If you want to get in touch with me directly concerning exactly what you want to order, I can work out the postage and convert to dollars so that you can get a bank draft for the correct amount. Schoon, our unofficial evangelist judging by the comments above, is an expert on getting overseas cheques arranged so he will probably be able to give you some pointers. Apologies to Jon for hijacking his list, I now return you to your normal (GZG) programming....

Hiho folks, Is anyone in this list a member of SFSFW? I'm after a couple of the Brigade Models Full Thrust minis but don't really want to pay A$30 (roughly) to join a club I have absolutely no interest in, just to get access to them. So I'm hoping to make a deal. If interested would you please contact me off-list on webmaster@stargrunt.com? Thanks.

*** Also please note that I don't intend to be rude to the organisers of SFSFW or their members. *** Perhaps not, but it might be a bit rude to Tony, whom, it appears, set the line up for members only. Note, Tony reads this list pretty closely. Of course, as tardy as issues of Ragnarok are, it almost seems like a lifetime membership anyway. What a bargain! ;->= Lastly, I'm one of several members on the list, but I'm assuming reshipping from the US would probably defeat the purpose; you might want to indicate you mean members IN Oz. Common mistake amongst all us national-centric colonials, of course...
