Subject: Best ship in FT2.0/FT2.5

Hi, I would like to hear any thoughts about what people think are the
"best"/"most
effective" ships in FT2.0/FT2.5 and why people like them.
These are my favorite ships:
FT2.0: Nova, a home-build ship of cruiser-mass (26 MASS) and 3 A-batts.
FT2.5: Vandenburg -P, a modification of the Vanenburg with 4 pts of
armor removed and replaced with a Pulse Torp FT2.5: Valley Forge Thanks for
any replies that I get (in advance) Bye Stephen

The NAC escort cruiser is the killer ship of the game. It has good fire power
(Torps), ADAF and from memory scrrens and armour.

I had 4 of them against a FSE fleet, they stoped my fighters AND SML cold.
Then Distroyed a Foche in 1 turn.

Ref FT 2.0:

The 'best' ship of all is the one that consisently has a large number of sixes
on the dice that is rolls!!

'Best' is of course a relative word that describes the optimum ship under the
players self defined set of preferences.

How 'bout that for a well defined 'not exactly the answer I was looking for'
statement.

I like fast ships, escorts at mass 12-18, cruisers at mass 26-36, and
capitals at mass 66 to 80, mothing less than thrust 5,

Bye for now

have asked:"what qualitys do you look for in a ship?" agents a mixed force. I
think that this asked the question I wanted ansered better than my original
wording. Thanks Bye Stephen
