Mike,
It happened to me seven times in one day. I did not go back and try to count
the others from the day before. I do not call that something I should just
deal with, that is a problem.

As I said, I only got the two sets from Allan, and when I see one or two from
different sources, I tend to discount it. Did all seven of your multiples come
from the list? I just got a 'not able to deliver' message stating my mailer
couldn't find csu.berkerly.edu, which is weird because all my posts seem to
have been accounted.
Perhaps there IS something wrong with the list server?
Matthew, you listening?

No, that message was my fault. I fat fingered an address entry
Yes, all of the dupes came from the list. However, I have not received any
dupes from last night to now. Maybe the issue has been resolved (I can only
hope). In fact, that is why I asked in the first place. I wanted to see if the
problem was our routing servers or something outside our system.

One thing to look for is the Received fields in your header. This
shows the path the e-mail took through various machines. You may be
able to track down where the problem lies-- if all 7 have identical
Received fields up to one particular machine, you've narrowed down where the
duplication could be occuring. All all 7 have all identical
I just recieved 2 identical messages from Alan through the list server. They
are time-stamped 10 seconds apart. So it appears to be on Alan's end
(his server or client).
