Does anyone know of a good miniature for use as a heavy battleship, or a
conversion for one? I've looked over the battledreadnaughts and battleships of
the Stellar Powers, but haven't really found anything with the right feel to
it. Any ideas?

You've told us what you don't want, but not exactly what you do want.
There are some Silent Death figures that are large enough to serve as
battleships or dreadnoughts. Try the Kali, I believe.
There is the Battlefleet Gothic line from Games Workshop.
There are the Starfleet Wars minis.
Look for Tom Granvold's Starship minis page for some pointers or Dean
Gundberg's Starship news page for other ideas.
I hope that helps.

I was correct. It is the Kali. The figure is about 4 inches long.

I have a fleet of six Agnis and 2 Kalis that I'm planning on using
as a pirate fleet. The Agni is roughly super destroyer / light cruiser
size.

You could go really outre and use some of the Star Blazers minis. I've got FT
stats for a few of them, they're good ships, just big (in
mass and PV) and funny looking, not to mention out-of-genre for most
people.
I actually have several of both these figures and I agree they're very nice.
The scale is a bit smaller than the other FT figs, though. > I was correct. It
is the Kale. The figure is about 4 inches long. However, I took the Kale and
turned it upside down and didn't put on the side "solar panels" or whatever
those things are. It looks much better!

They have some nice minis but their prices are way high for what you get.
