For those of you in the North Baltimore (Maryland USA) area (Indy?), I saw
this info posted on rec.games.miniatures.warhammer (I was not reading that
newsgroup, I found it from Deja News through a search for 'Battlefleet'
;).
Battlefleet Gothic Demo Day at the White March Mall This Sunday the 24th at
the GW store Games start at 1pm and 3pm Hosted by visiting Studio folks Robin
Dews and Andy Chambers
Just thought I would pass this along if anyone can go so we can get a review
and an idea of what else they have added since the White Dwarf article.

Argh!!
I'll be in DC climbing and attending an Ed Viesturs Everest presentation.

Thanks for the notice, even if I can't make it.

Excuse me.... ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!! WHY COULDN'T THEY HOLD IT AT THE
GURNEY MILLS STORE?!? WHHHHHHYYYYY!?!?!?
Later,
I shall weep large tears.
In spite of what someone else on the list thought was a bad review from me,
I've tried the magazine rules, got soundly spanked, but STILL thought they
showed excellent promise.
Indy, is there no one you can delegate..., er, sweetly request to make this
intel mission?!?!? I KNOW there will be further updates in WD, but there's
always things let slip when folks from the UK show. ;->=

I know that... I just happen to like their gothic ship minis. To heck with the
game. (Although there is the slightest chance it *might* be good.) GW's
horrendus prices don't scare me because I buy all my GW minis from a store
that gives 30% off their products.

Are you serious, Mark? This _is_ GW, after all. Unless they are _very_
different on the other side of the Pond, they barely recognise that
other shops/games _exist_!
Phil, all of a sudden reminded of Avalon Hill and the General....

Hmm....
<Aaron scratches the tip of his nose in contemplation>
ROAD TRIP!!!!
Guess I can cover for Indy... though, Mark, if you're in the DC area does this
mean you'll be home in the evening, or away for the weekend? It's doable
(barely) as a one day trip for me, but having an overnight place to stay would
be great. (And without driving out to my Aunt & Uncle's
place....)
Anyone got directions to the White March Mall? ^_^; (From the B'more
beltway, anyway....)

It must be great to live near one of our nature's cultural centers. The most
culture my fellow cheeseheads ever look forward to are tractor pulls,
professional 'rastlin', and of course... WOOOOO PACKERS!!!
<Siefert buries his head in hands to hide shame.>
I hate living in the sticks.

Let us know if they are using any of the cool figs used in the WD article.

Who lives near? I'm in northern New Jersey! Should be about a 3-4 hour
drive one way, by my estimate. ^_^;

Well, I've heard worse. At least you have e-mail. ^_-
(Though I guess I *am* considerably closer to B'more and/or DC than you
are....)
