Just to throw my 2d(Old Imperial pennies) into the hat on the subject of
Official background. Having scoured the books (FT, MT, SG2 and my soon to be
delivered copy of
DS2) for background info, I think that FTIII/BDS or The Fleet book would

benefit from including a map of human space with political boundaries etc. Me,
I'd be happy with a skeletal listing of settled worlds, colonies,
etc. It is always a good place to start from when planning/designing a

campaign. I know there are people who don't like this sort of material in
their supplements, but I do feel that there is enough generic stuff in the
overall system already, and a handout to those interested in the GZG universe
would only enhance the game.

I think it could be a good "campaign" supplement. The rules for a generic
campaign could be in there and the examples could use the "official"
background.

YES!!! I think their has been enough talk about a "strategic thurst" that
GZG could get set some sort of campign/long term/strategic helpers for
FT/DS/SG.

thats the beuty of the systems... they work so nicely together, and, with a
campaign system in place the fussion betweem the "trilogy will be complete.

Denny,
We have a good model of the GZG universe/space. It contains the 826 star
system within 10 parsec of Sol, trade routes, power blocks and political
boundaries set after the Third war. This is around the time the Kra'Vak
warbands start hitting UNE, Indo and NAC outposts near Mu Herculis (B).

We are slowly building up planet profiles.

If you or any others are interested I will send it to you direct, (as I do not
want to clog up the list with big files).

You will get plenty of requests for this. Can you send them to Mark for
posting on the page? How much space will he need?
