Just like to mention a bit of good TV I've just seen that gives quite a good
description of the use of things called stem cells (basically the cells that a
human embryo starts off as before the differentiate into feet, eyes, organs
etc.) for regeneration and regrowth of damaged organs and brain cells. Not
sure it could apply in a battlefield sense but it's a good background read in
the current research.
