I think its a mid 2nd season episode possibly "Acts of Sacrifice".

Otherwise it may be one of the 5th season we haven't yet seen over here.

Does anyone know what episode it was that showed Centari fighters attacking a
Narn Cruiser.

And was it any good. Keep seeing a clip of it in the current series credits!

Many thanks

Niall is correct.

The clip they are using comes from the opening sequence for "Act of
Sacrifice." We see a couple of Centauri fighters dogfighting with a Narn
fighter near a Narn Heavy cruiser. Two Vorchan are approaching, so the Narn
decides to jump. Then they get word that an evacuation ship with women and
children got left behind. The cruiser runs interference for the transport, but
is subsequently destroyed by the Vorchans.

G'Kar spends much of the episode showing a recording of the battle to other
ambassadors in an attempt to gain support for the war.

(No I didn't recently go back and watch EVERY scene with a combat sequence in
it on tape recently...)

Now there's a weird bit of synchronicity for you: this episode was on tonight
(a local station is on it's third time around for the first 4 seasons). This
is the same episode where Ivanova is asked to seal a deal with a strange alien
race in a most, um, unusual manner...

To put this back on topic, has anyone correlated the strengths of the ships in
the Earthforce Sourcebook with the TV show to see if they are in the same
ballpark? Just wondering how "accurate" the rulebook is.

I think JMS has something against Australians. Did you guys ever notice that
just about every crook, murderer, bully, and ring leader in down below is
Australian? Whats up with that?

I miss Malcolm. Byron should have been spaced much earlier.

I think there were a few cockneys as well, with really *grate* Dick Van Dyke
'cockney' accents. Eww.

conviction and morale fiber (Malcolm) they get another one turn up. (Byron).

It's not politically incorrect to have villains with English accents. You
don't see many Scots as villains, however, which I find interesting.

I could have done with them killing off the "sainted Byron" (as a friend of
mine calls him) MUCH sooner. BOOOOORRRRIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!!

JMS has said several times that he likes an English accent and English actors
tend to have more classical training. Now can we stop filling up mail boxes
with this?

Sure - we can go back to flame wars, or I can ask where everybody is,
again. Sorry if I don't follow JMS that closely.

Sorry if I sounded terse. I should have phrased it differently. It's just that
I'm having a bad day and when I was called in to work on an emergency there
were all these messages about accents on B5 and I'm getting complaints about
the amount of mail I'm getting anyway.

No worries, David. I understand what you meant. I probably needed to insert a
humor thingie as well (No, I DON'T want to know where everyone is...)
