B5 ship/fighter question

I know this sounds a bit vague but I remember on the list
seeing some stats for having fighters fitted to non-carrier
ships and it was based on a B5 episode were the fighters were clamped onto the
ship and they could be released in the event of hostilities but cannot be
retrieved.

does anybody have a clue on what I am talking about and is there somebody who
can pass on those stats:(

I don't have the stats etc but I remember the thread was called parasite
fighters. Have a look in the archives for them if no one else can help you.
