> Re: Playing Full Thrust in Babylon 5 universe:
The miniatures for Babylon 5 Wars seem reasonably priced compared to the
figures available for the NAC, ESU, NSL, etc. at $6.50. The real kicker is the
rules and boxed set of materials for Babylon 5 Wars. They're asking $45 for
their boxed game and $25 for their follow on books.
We'll buy the minis and use Mark's FT rules....

Um, where did you get this info? I thought the game was still under

Does the game include a space combat system?
We sure get this question a lot, considering that The Babylon Project is a
roleplaying (not a tactical) game. Don't worry--the answer is yes. The
Earthforce Sourcebook (out shortly after main book) includes a great
ship-to-ship combat system: streamlined yet realistic, and easily
scalable for use with the small battles typical to roleplaying adventures or
for the larger conflicts against which epic tales turn. The system is being
designed by Jon Tuffley, who created the fantastic Full Thrust space combat
miniatures system, and it incorporates many of Full Thrust's design elements.
Will there be miniatures?
To quote Sinclair: "that is a far more interesting question than you can
possibly realize." We're looking into both ship and character miniatures. The
short answer is that we will probably offer them, but not right away.
