Too late; I was steaming that the only person bothering to point out that this
has been well done before and mostly off topic to the list, which is not a
general military one, was you referring to the web site. We have differing
views of the movie, but apparently similar respect for others.
However, I promise this is my last comment on the subject. Any further will be
direct, as most of the previous should have been.

I have to agree SST has been debated to death here (previously) and other
places, and nothing I've heard is particularly new on the topic (check the
archives....). It is OT insofar as maligning or supporting it as a movie bears
little relevance to how to run bugs or MI in DS2 or SG2. That gets dangerously
close to religious zeal and is of questionable use. So maybe we can all just
agree to let this one die a death overdue.
