Have to disagree with you there, Alan. There _was_ an asymmetric
Klingon ship -- the D-11 destroyer (? FASA weren't very good with their
naval terminology; almost as bad as JMS) -- think of something like a
standard D-7, but with only an enlarged port wing (the "starboard"
engine. They did do a mini of it, but it was an early design (first edn rules
and Ship Recognition Manual) and may have been quietly forgotten when they
went to 2nd edition. It didn't, for instance, make it into the Starship Combat
Simulator game.

And, oh yes, Most Vandenburgs are asymmetrical as the one gun/sensor
mount
usually gets broken quickly. ;-)
