Asphalt

Hi Chris,

I'd suggest some fine grade sand applied with
a glue/water mix. Brush off the excess to try to
get it flat. Then paint black (or prime the whole figure black) and then
drybrush some grey (just a little) onto the surface to give it appearance.
Yellow lines and such can be added after this.

The sandpaper idea is neat, but short of hacking off the bases around the feet
(dodgy in
15mm) and mounting onto a pre-sandpapered
penny or something, you'd probably have to cut the sandpaper and wrap it
around the feet, which would show a seam or two.

Now, the sandpaper idea sure does give me an idea or two for how to mount some
DS2 figures
though....
